Jack Grealish netted his first goal of the season in Aston Villa’s 3-2 win over Burton Albion in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Grealish’s strike came in the 88th minute of the match, and proved incredibly important when considering that Burton Albion netted their second in the final moments.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form in recent weeks, but it was his first goal since he netted on the final day of last season.
The Aston Villa fans are a happy bunch at the moment when considering that their team has won their last six in the Championship to occupy third position in the table.
Indeed, it seems that Steve Bruce, who was under pressure in the early stages of the campaign, is leading the march back to the Premier League.
Grealish’s off-the-field conduct has not always been the best, but there is no doubting the midfielder’s talent, which he needed to cushion home his goal at the weekend.
