Antonio Conte’s Chelsea took one step closer to the Premier League title on Saturday with a comprehensive 3-1 win over Swansea at Stamford Bridge. It wasn’t a match that went all their own way, Swansea gave a good account of themselves and only really let the match get away from them in the last 20 minutes of the match.Ultimately though the Blues’ class shone through and they are now a massive 11 points clear of Manchester City, although they have played a game more.Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Diego Costa were the man on the target, overwhelming a Diego Llorente effort that tie the game at 1-1.Conte’s side were always likely to be destined for the win though, as this stat from Squawka shows.
It’s incredible form, especially when you take into account that over half of the games in this 12 game run also featured clean sheets for the side.
If they can sustain these performances at Stamford Bridge then the title will be delivered sooner rather than later.
