Chelsea decided to give fans a glimpse of what their players have been up to during the summer break, but plenty of supporters made it clear that they are more interested in the club’s transfer activity.
Via Twitter, the Blues linked to a piece on their official website listing the various social media posts that the players have posted during their time off.
Thibaut Courtois and Michy Batshuayi have been documenting their trips to Los Angeles, while Pedro has been enjoying the sun in the Canary Islands, and Diego Costa has returned to his homeland Brazil.
Unfortunately for Chelsea, though, the fans were not thrilled by the piece and bombarded the club’s Twitter page with questions about transfers.
As it stands, Antonio Conte is yet to strengthen his squad, which has got some fans frustrated, particularly as Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have all started bringing in additions.
The Blues have been heavily linked to players, though, with The Mirror reporting that the club could spend around £100m on bringing in Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco and Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.
Judging by the reaction to the club’s tweet, fans are growing impatient.
